Lucy Ballard is a saxophonist and clarinettist who can provide musical entertainment for a variety of special occasions, from weddings to corporate entertainment.

As well as performing, Lucy also offers lessons on the saxophone and clarinet.

Lucy's childhood passion for the saxophone lead to her studying it in her early 20's, and within 4 years obtaining a distinction at Grade 8 with the Associated Board of The Royal School of Music.

She quickly became a member in various rock 'n' roll bands, and subsequently function bands playing at venues including The Institute of Directors, London; The Mayfair Hotel, London; and Lansdowne Members Club, London.

Lucy's classical training gave her the love of playing passionate ballads as well as fun, light hearted swing/jazz on the saxophone and classical & traditional songs on the clarinet. This lead her to become a much sought after performer for wedding & cocktail receptions and dinner parties for a variety of clients including the Royal Bank of Scotland, Natwest Bank and BMW, and also to many wedding parties, playing at venues including Hever Castle, Leeds Castle, Stapleford Park and many hotels across the south.

Lucy's extensive repertoire covers songs from classical & traditional to early swing/jazz through to modern love songs, enabling her to create the right atmosphere for any occasion.
